My Story

My baking journey started many years ago in the form of our 'make your own' pizza nights. Family and friends would gather and and brag about whose pizza was better. From perfecting my own pizza dough recipe, my love for everything gluten eventually evolved into artisanal sourdough bread. I still love making pizza—now in my backyard wood-burning oven, but it’s sourdough bread that has become my passion. 

 

I made my sourdough starter in November 2016. This is the magical ingredient that does the job of leavening the bread. It’s also responsible for the amazing, wholesome flavour and added health benefits sourdough bread provides.

 

I started out making bread for my family and friends and since then, my love for artisanal baking has blossomed from a hobby to a home-based business—one that I'm excited to share with all of you.
